Radon Reduction Services is owned and operated by Deane Mickle. Radon Reduction Services installs hundreds of mitigation systems in homes every year and have also mitigated apartment buildings, schools and commercial buildings. We have been providing radon mitigation in Illinois since 1989, the first year the US EPA tested and approved contractors. We are the largest, most experienced and only full-time radon contractor in downstate Illinois. All other mitigators have other full-time employment or do non-radon contract work. We are the only mitigator in down-state Illinois licensed to mitigate commercial buildings and schools as well as houses. We are always pleased to give references.

Bio:
Deane Mickle collaborated with University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC) to develop a computer online radon mitigation training course and is a UlC instructor for the field training of UIC radon mitigation students. He also collaborated with UlC to develop and teach a CE course on Radon Resistant New Construction for Architects

Deane has developed Continuing Education (CE) courses for mitigation and measurement that he has taught.

He is past President of the Midwest Chapter of the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST - a radon professional organization) and a former board member of the AARST national organization. He is now the legislative liaison Vice President of Midwest AARST.

Radon Reduction has two Illinois licensed mitigation technicians; David Stone (Illinois License #RNMT99200) and
